Brightworks goes to ad:tech
More iPads and comments on Twitter than you can possibly imagine!
In our continuing effort to steal the best and brightest ideas and then pitch them to our clients as our own, the Brightworks Account Team headed down to ad:tech in San Fransisco. This is our third year attending (you can check it out at
www.ad-tech.com and we recommend you go), and it didn’t disappoint. With over 11,000 people attending, presenting and exhibiting, it was a giant digital love fest!
The key theme this year was really about using the right tactic, for the right audience, at the right time. The Social Media frenzy has finally died to a general din, especially relevant given the recent report indicating peer influence has dropped significantly). There were great case studies that showed microsites worked just as well as Twitter, which worked just as well as mobile, which worked just as well as email, as long as the creative was killer and the content was relevant to the audience.
It was exciting to see an industry buzzing with opportunity, chance and excitement. And did we mention how many iPads there were kicking around?
